Prior to adopting this Concern, we held a YF(GMFree) weekend in summer 2014, attended by sixteen Young Friends, with a theme of mental wellbeing, to gauge enthusiasm for the issue: enthusiasm was alive and well, and since YFGM whole-heartedly adopted this as a corporate Concern in October 2014, a working group has been established to take the ideas and passion forwards. They are currently researching mental wellbeing within YFGM (see below).
Mental Wellbeing is a current Concern for the whole of yfgm and many members (and other Quakers) have assisted and supported activities so far. The working group is – Jenny Baines, Ellen Elliott, Rachel Evans, Abigail Rowse and Laurence Hall (co-opted).

Mental Wellbeing Survey
The mental wellbeing concern working group are currently conducting a research project to try to discover the impact of YFGM on its participants mental wellbeing and whether there are organisational improvements we can make. We’d really like to hear from anyone who has ever attended YFGM to find out about your experiences.
