YFGM
Young Friends General Meeting is the national organisation for Young Quakers in Britain. YFGM organises a number of events that enable young Friends from around Britain to get together for social and spiritual gatherings.
Our main events are the three General Meetings which take place at Quaker meeting houses around the country in February, May and October each year. These weekends are open to anyone aged between 18 and 30ish who is a Quaker, or interested in Quakerism, and are a chance to meet like-minded people and find out more about what young Friends do.
YFGM weekends provide an opportunity to discuss the concerns of young Friends. They are also a time to meet up with old Friends and make new ones, to consider our lives, to worship together and have fun.
If you want more information on YFGM and Young Quakers in Britain please contact the YFGM office to request an enquirer's pack.

Quakers
Quakerism is a religion and a way of life. We hold meetings for worship where we listen in silence for inspiration to give ministry. We live our lives to testimonies of truth, equality, peace and simplicity. We have no creed or set of rules.
We more formally call ourselves The Religious Society of Friends.

Quakers like having fun and have nothing to do with the brand of porridge oats!
