Find your local young adult Quakers
The following is a list of local Young Adult Quaker (YAQ) meetings/communities. If you know of a YAQ group that is not on this list, please let us know via the Discord or Contact Us page. If you don’t yet have a local Young Adult Quaker meeting, consider starting one! We have created a step-by-step guide to help you through this process.
Birmingham Young Adult Friends
Birmingham Young Adult Friends meet from 6-8pm on the second Wednesday of the month at Selly Oak Meeting, B29 6NB – we usually have worship 6:30-7:00 then dinner afterwards!
Cambridge Jesus Lane Young Adult Friends
The Young Adult Friends group in Cambridge Jesus Lane meets every Tuesday evening at 6pm, doors open from 5:45, for a meeting for worship (usually hybrid, with Friends able to join online) and then dinner together.
Devon Young Adult Quakers
Devon Young Adult Quakers (18-35ish) meet upstairs at Exeter Quaker Meeting House fortnightly on a Wednesday at 6pm for Epilogue (a shorter worship by candlelight) and a shared meal (preferably vegan).
The meeting house is shared by other private groups at the same time slot, so please try to be in the Children’s room upstairs by 6:15pm latest to honour their privacy. No pressure to bring food/drink, your presence is all that’s needed
We now also run “epilogues” from 16:00 on Saturdays of alternate weeks to our Exeter epilogues, at Quaker House on the street of Mutley Plain in Plymouth. This is working out to be the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of February 2026, and fortnightly thereon.
We have about 50 attendees spread across Devon and Cornwall many of whom don’t regularly make it to the Exeter Epilogues and, while the core of us are concentrated in South Devon, we’re very keen to forge links in more northerly climes. This June we ran what we hope to be an annual YAF camping trip to Spiceland Quaker Meeting near Cullompton. We’re slowly edging our way outwards!
Dundee Young Adult Friends
Meet as the Spirit leads them, for details contact LM clerks or find more information through the national YAF community WhatsApp group.
Glasgow Young Quakers
