Our Events
YFGM holds three weekend gatherings each year, in February, May (including a bank holiday), and October. In addition we hold Planning Weekends, where YFGMers get together to plan the next weekend.
YFGM is a space for young Friends in Britain, where we can explore spiritual and community issues together. At YFGM weekends we live together as a community sharing worship, food, and company. We hold Meetings for Worship for Business, and a whole lot of games and fun. Young Friends lead many sessions on different topics during the weekend, with some held by people from outside of YFGM.
Quakers (and the Quaker-curious) aged 18-35 are warmly invited to come along.
We request that participants register in advance, this allows us to buy the right amount of food, plan activities, and accommodate people’s dietary and accessibility needs.
