Planning Weekend Jan 2023

At planning weekends, we gather to thresh the agenda for the coming YFGM and think about the future.

All are welcome to attend.

To quote a minute “Agenda items come out of suggestions and ideas from the community; an idea might become a SIG which then becomes a business item, and from there becomes an event, a project, or, well, God knows what”.

This planning weekend will be held in person at Doncaster Quaker Meeting House, which is about 10 minutes walk from Doncaster station. Directions can be found on their website: https://doncasterquakers.org.uk/location/.

Arrivals from 6pm on Friday. Epilogue will finish at 3pm on Sunday. See here for the full agenda.

Any YFGMer can add items for threshing (a process of discernment that takes place at planning weekend for what will be on the agenda at next YFGM). To do so, please add a row to the threshing document with your name and a description. If you are not able to be at planning weekend yourself to speak to it in the threshing session, please speak to YFGM Elders (on discord or via yfgm.elder.trustee@gmail.com) ahead of the weekend to ensure that enough detail is known to make decisions on it.
