Please read this page carefully! This YFiB gathering is going to be weird!

At our February 2026 General Meeting in York, we minuted that we will have a spiritual review instead of a more typical gathering. Here you can read the full minute (2026.02.3) and documents in advance which has some provisional agenda information. 

This will be an internally-focused gathering, we won’t be having our usual sessions, and all of our energy will be going towards the process of spiritual review. We ask that you consider if you are able to attend this event with your hearts and minds fully prepared, as we would be grateful if everyone came with the intention to engage with the review as much as they are able.

We are not capping registrations this time around. This may mean that nearer the time (if we get over 90 registrants!), we will ask Friends who can afford it to find their own accommodation or provide their own meals.

We strongly encourage any Friends who have never attended a YFB before to wait until our October gathering in Edinburgh (23rd-25th). People who feel new, but have previously attended at least one YFiB gathering, are very welcome!

Furthermore, we’d like to particularly welcome those who have not attended a YFiB gathering in a long time. Your insight (especially into why you stopped coming, what you loved, what you disliked) would be particularly welcome.

The deadline to register is 8th May 2026 at 6pm. If you need to register after this time please contact Logistics (logistics@youngfriends.org.uk) to see if it will be possible for you to attend.
